Are you a Design Manager within the Civil Engineering industry, with experience working on a live project? Are you looking for a new permanent opportunity in 2024? Start Date: March 2024
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum dependent on experience

Responsibilities:
- Working with and leading team of design engineers
- Recording the progress of works on record drawings
- Ensure all design solutions are affordable and developed within the project budget
- Make sure solution risk is appropriately managed
- Contribute and create design documents
- Ensure sustainable design solutions are completed in accordance with CDM regulations
- Be able to provide design solutions that meet all requirements within the programme systems
- Control, monitor, record design changes to maximise cost efficiency
- Liaise and work alongside the programme manager to agree design costs and timescales
- Deliver the design stage outputs for each project
Requirements of the successful Design Manager include:
- Experience within the Civil Engineering Industry
- HNC or equivalent, ideally in Civil Engineering
- CSCS card
- Professional Experience as a Designer
- Able to create, read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of technical project delivery
- Delivery driven with the ability to set targets to manage and motivate teams
