An excellent opportunity for an aspiring Cyber Security Architect to join our team to be responsible for driving business-focused security by design (including privacy controls) and integrating security requirements of changes into the business through the development and/or review of solutions so that they align with the requirements for the contract to mitigate identified risks, conform to relevant security policies and balance information risk against the cost of countermeasures.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Identifying information security risks that arise from potential and actual solution architectures
• Designing alternate solutions to mitigate identified information risks
• Applying 'standard' security techniques and architectures to mitigate security risks.
• Developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices
• Providing consultancy and advice to customers on IA and architectural problems
• Influencing senior stakeholders to comply with architectural principles and objectives
• Advise and impact assess changes through CABS.
• Advise on and present solutions to known/emerging threats, through regular reports and adhoc emergence notices.
What we're looking for:
• Experience in cyber security architecture
• Technical background (i.e. from a previous ICT engineering or design role)
• Previous security engineering experience
• Experience working within TOGAF or SABSA architectural framework
• Knowledge and experience with the ISO27001:2013 standard
• ISC2 SSCP
• Working towards CCSP
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of business continuity, risk management and enterprise architecture
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences clearly.
