Recruitment for Research Assistant / Research Engineer / Senior Research Assistant

A research assistant position is available at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. The successful candidate will work on the design and synthesis of composite materials for carbon capture applications. The research assistant should have experience in composite material synthesis and fabrication using solution chemistry methods. Desired skills include demonstrated experience with solution-based chemical synthesis, surface functionalization of materials (e.g., ligand exchange, polymer grafting), or polymeric composite fabrication methods. Additionally, the research engineer will also be working closely with the engineering team to implement an innovative gas separation system. The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Technology and Design is seeking a full-time Research Fellow or Research Associate, to join a growing research team dedicated to understanding human behavior in cities.

Successful applicants will contribute to a research program that explores the intersection of human behavior, urban design, technology, and livability. The program tackles critical questions about how cities shape people’s behaviors and, in turn, how cities should be designed to better serve their inhabitants.
