We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Coventry, with a focus on delivering projects in a hospital environment. As a Project Manager at Mitie, you'll be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage projects through all stages, from conception to completion
-Identify and procure specialist services as needed
-Develop project programs with consideration for critical path, float, and risk
-Ensure Health and Safety is at the forefront of every project
-Lead a team of professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
Main Duties:
As a Project Manager, you'll identify project critical success factors, communicate them to the team, and set up the project with clear roles and responsibilities. You'll manage change control, document control, and knowledge sharing, participate in tender creation, and develop project programs. You'll also ensure effective resource allocation, establish relationships with the supply chain, and maintain accurate progress reporting.
Requirements:
-Proficiency in construction knowledge and project management principles
-Strong communication and leadership of a team skills
-Proficient in Health and Safety/CDM management
-Commercial awareness and cost management skills
-Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage change successfully
-Customer care skills to meet client needs
-Membership in a construction-related institute is preferred
-Relevant Health & Safety qualification is a must
-Membership in a construction-related institute, such as RICS/CIOB/RIBA/CIBSE/MIET or APM, is preferred. A relevant Health & Safety qualification, such as Nebosh, NVQ Level 6 Health and Safety, or IOSH is also an asset.
