Trainee Land Surveyor – Utility Detection and Mapping
Working across the UK
- Full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
- Permanent position
- Salary circa £22,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience
- Full UK driving licence required (held for at least 1 year)

Adien is one of the UK's leading specialists in locating underground pipes and cables for utility companies, civil engineers, consulting engineers, construction companies & local authorities. The Trainee Land Surveyor Role:
Due to heavy workload and a desire to expand our operations, Adien Ltd are looking for a Trainee Land Surveyor to work around the UK on a variety of projects. We are an ISO accredited company who work to high professional standards and operate to a "right first time" ethic.
This position involves working away from home on a regular basis and will appeal to those who are ambitious, enjoy working on their own initiative and are seeking to join a progressive and growing company offering excellent future prospects.
Key responsibilities:
- Utilising Total Station and GPS surveying equipment
- Incorporating utility and topographical data into CAD deliverables for client presentation
- Adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives
The Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking ambitious individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for learning. Candidates should possess:
- Prior experience or training in Health and Safety/Site Safety (preferably)
- Ability to work Nationally and Internationally
- Working away from home on a regular basis
- Full UK Driving License (held for at least 1 year)
