We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tenancy and Estate Management Officer to join a team in Charnwood on a full-time temporary ongoing basis. The Tenancy and Estate Management Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality tenancy and estate management services to our customers while upholding the vision and business objectives of the company.
Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within Social Housing / property/ tenancy sustainment
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and current issues within the housing sector, including the impact of homelessness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
• Good working knowledge of statistical analysis, and understanding of financial issues
• Knowledge of the Welfare Benefit system

Role Expectations

• Ensure that customers remain at the heart of all services, delivering an excellent and responsive service to tenants and stakeholders alike
• Work collaboratively within the Landlord Services Team, supporting colleagues, fostering mutual respect, and contributing to a well-motivated and empowered team environment
• Actively engage with customers and stakeholders, promoting customer involvement and conducting estate walkabouts to address community needs and aspirations
• Take ownership of the tenancy and estate management for designated housing areas, managing tenancies, ensuring compliance with conditions, and undertaking necessary actions regarding breaches of tenancy
• Participate in reviews of tenancy and estate management strategies, policies, and procedures, contributing to the development and implementation of team objectives
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and organizational provisions governing service delivery, including maintaining accurate housing information and managing information securely
• Develop working relationships with colleagues, as well as key partners
• Liaise with external partners, including local authorities and support agencies, and ensure effective service is delivered

Job Title: Rural Estate Surveyor
Location: Leicestershire
Work Pattern: 2-3 days on site, 2 days WFH
Contract Length: 6 month rolling


Working for a large Local Authority on their Agricultural estate. As a rural estate surveyor, this is hands-on and requires regular site visits to farms across the county. The role will involve rent reviews, lease renewals, strategic management, serving notices. You will be meeting farmers, so good communication skills and a good understanding and knowledge of farm estates is essential. This role is open to graduate level or highly experienced as the duties and responsibilities will be tailored to suit.


This is inside IR 35 and will run initially for 3-6 months but is likely to be extended. A 4-day week is an option, but 5 days is ideal.
You will be required to travel 2-3 days a week to various locations across Leicestershire, so a driving licence is essential.
You will hold a relevant RICS accredited degree and an agricultural/rural background and experience


What you\'ll get in return. This is a day rate and inside IR35. Weekly pay, mileage 0.45 per mile

A client within the Private Sector based in Leicestershire is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a civil engineering environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to be the project commercial lead on one or more projects within the

operating region. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be required to provide commercial support.

for both pre and operate as the commercial lead on post-contract disciplines.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Completion of contracts within estimated financial guidelines to return maximum profit.
• Submission of interim and final accounts carried out within the required timescales for the assigned project(s).
• Ensure that company does not exceed credit limits set for the assigned project(s).
• To secure new business opportunities
• Ensure HSQE performance is within business & legislative requirements.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require a RICS-accredited Commercial / Quantity Surveying Degree as well as a valid driver's licence and the ability to drive.

The below skills would be essential for the role:

• White / Yellow CSCS Card.
• Pre and post contract experience in a civil engineering commercial role; minimum 5 years, +7 years preferred
• Demonstrable experience particularly in Civil Engineering projects.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
