About the role

The role covers all areas of property management and resident liaison for approximately 500 A2Dominion Private Rented and Intermediate Rented properties across Central and Greater London. A legal 500 law firm based in the city is seeking an experienced Paralegal, paying up to £27,000 plus benefits. This is a newly created role due to team growth and promotion.

The Paralegal will be supporting the Real Estate Team, in particular on case involving Real Estate Development work, Residential conveyancing and Plot Sales. Ideally post completion and plots sales experience would be beneficial to this role.

Duties will include the following:

• Managing multiple workflow trackers, calendar management (pertaining to completion/
• AP1, Cancellation and SDLT submission deadlines).
• Assisting with the day-to-day supervision of the paralegals and trainees within
• the team, ensuring they are delivering a quality service and meeting client expectations.
• Dealing with client enquiries
• Preparing and approving transfer deeds and leases and dealing with their
• execution and completion.
• Reviewing replies to pre-completion requisitions
• Submitting, reviewing, and interpreting priority searches
• Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and arranging payment within the
• statutory timescales.
• Preparing AP1 applications to minimise Requisitions and to deal with any Land
• Registry Requisitions that may arise.
• Arranging for files to be closed down once all completions pertaining to that
• matter have been completed.
• Keeping tidy and accurate files, records, and trackers both in hard copy and
• electronically and ensure LEXCEL compliance.
