We have the opportunity for two roles working with people with care and support needs. The role is a Senior Support Worker, supporting service users who have enduring mental health diagnoses. The service is based in the Stalybridge area and provides a service for 17 adults of all genders. This will include support with activities in the individual’s home and in the wider Bolton community, building connections and relationships with others. You will enable individuals to make choices, to have control over their lives and to enjoy opportunities for personal development. Prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability is valuable for this Support Worker role but not essential if you have the following personal qualities and attitudes:

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with service users and colleagues and you must have a good standard of written English in order to contribute to written records. You must be able to work shifts and to be flexible and reliable. There may be a requirement to work sleep-ins in the service user’s home to ensure their safety overnight, for which a generous allowance is paid.
