Applications are invited for an experienced B4 Medical Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the Consultants and Medics at the Community Mental Health Team, based at The Gateway Centre, Blackpool. The successful applicant will be offered full on the job training.



You will need advanced word processing skills, OCR level III or equivalent word processing experience. In addition you will need digital audio typing experience.

You will need experience of live typing in meetings with excellent summarising skills. You will need previous Secretarial experience. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the secretarial team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The successful applicants will require a flexible approach and the ability to work across other sites if required for the needs of the service.

Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults Specialty, 1.0wte Band 7/8a depending on experience

We are seeking a clinical psychologist with experience and enthusiasm in working with older people, to join the friendly and supportive Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) based at Lytham Hospital on the beautiful Fylde Coast.

The RITT team provides a variety of approaches to support older people with complex mental health issues, with the aim of reducing the need for hospital admission where possible. A specialist care home liaison service is also provided to nursing and care homes.

The successful applicant will be working with the multi-disciplinary team and team manager to continue to develop a high quality, community-orientated service for older people. The successful post-holder will also be working alongside another clinical psychologist and assistant psychologist(s) based in the same team, plus additional locality based psychology colleagues.

The posts are professionally attached to the locality older adult psychology team and wider network, both of which offer a friendly and supportive space, with a strong commitment to providing quality services for older people in Lancashire and South Cumbria. The Trust is also committed to staff development, and have invested in on-going training and development opportunities including funding recent further therapy training and leadership courses. There are strong links with Universities and various opportunities for research involvement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist to take up a 12-month, fixed-termposition as an B8a Clinical Psychologist within the Blackpool CMHT Psychology team.

The role is part of a waiting list initiative to support the existing B8b and B8a Clinical Psychologists with their waiting lists. You would be joining a friendly and supportive team, who work well within the MDT, and seeing a broad range of clinical presentations.

This isa great opportunityto develop therapeutic skills in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Compassion Focussed Therapy. Clinical Supervision can be provided in each of these modalities. We are seeking to recruit two substantive Consultant Psychiatrists to join the Fylde and Wyre CAMHS Team, based at Whitegate Drive Health Centre in Blackpool. The posts are full time (10PA).

In addition, we would also like to offer the successful applicant a place on our ‘Safety and Improvement Fellowship’ programme. In LSCft, we have worked in collaboration with Lancaster University andMatthew Syed Consultingto create a development programme that will build upon the skills and experience you have developed so far in the improvement and enable you to take it to a much deeper level. The cost of this programme will be funded by the Trust.

The postholder will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable.

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist to take up a 12-month, fixed-term secondmentposition as a B8a Clinical Psychologist within the Blackpool CMHT Psychology team.

The role is part of a waiting list initiative to support the existing B8b and B8a Clinical Psychologists with their waiting lists. You would be joining a friendly and supportive team, who work well within the MDT, and seeing a broad range of clinical presentations.

This isa great opportunityto develop therapeutic skills in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Compassion Focussed Therapy. Clinical Supervision can be provided in each of these modalities. The team is supported clinically and professionally by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who works across Adult Mental Health and Access and Urgent Care services within the Fylde Coast.

The base would be the Gateway, Blackpool, primarily, although there may be some requirements to travel to other venues across the Fylde Coast as appropriate.



1.To provide a qualified Clinical Psychology Service to patients of the nominated team(s) including the provision of enhanced specialist psychological assessment and therapy, working within the policies,proceduresand protocols applicable to the service.



2.To offer advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to psychology and non-psychology colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service’s policies and procedures. Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults Specialty, 1.0wte Band 7/8a depending on experience

We are seeking a clinical psychologist with experience and enthusiasm in working with older people, to join the friendly and supportive Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) based at Lytham Hospital on the beautiful Fylde Coast.

The RITT team provides a variety of approaches to support older people with complex mental health issues, with the aim of reducing the need for hospital admission where possible. A specialist care home liaison service is also provided to nursing and care homes.

The successful applicant will be working with the multi-disciplinary team and team manager to continue to develop a high quality, community-orientated service for older people. The successful post-holder will also be working alongside another clinical psychologist and assistant psychologist(s) based in the same team, plus additional locality based psychology colleagues.

The posts are professionally attached to the locality older adult psychology team and wider network, both of which offer a friendly and supportive space, with a strong commitment to providing quality services for older people in Lancashire and South Cumbria. The Trust is also committed to staff development, and have invested in on-going training and development opportunities including funding recent further therapy training and leadership courses. There are strong links with Universities and various opportunities for research involvement.

The substantive post is full-time, but we would consider part-time and job share arrangements. Informal enquiries and visits are strongly welcomed.

The £7k Welcome Bonus package applies to this role.
