The Role
As the Registered Children’s Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people who have experienced childhood trauma and challenging behaviours.
• Ensure the home is fully compliant with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
• Lead, manage, and support a small, committed staff team.
• Provide training and development to ensure staff are up-to-date and effective in their roles.
• Create a nurturing and supportive environment, addressing the individual needs of young people.
• Promote and encourage educational engagement and development.
• Oversee the physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being of young adults.

The Requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management within a Children’s Home setting.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or 4 years as a Deputy Manager, with the ambition to progress.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience in managing challenging behaviours.
• Understanding of childhood trauma and its impact on young people.
• A valid UK driving license is essential.

Job Title: Children’s Support Worker
Salary: £23,400 to £25,600 plus additional for sleep-ins

Hours of Work: Full Time (39 Hours per week)
