What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appointment a receptionist to support our busy school office between 8:30am and 4:30pm two days per week, with an hour’s lunch break each day. The successful applicant will staff the front desk, fielding calls and emails, and managing visitors whilst assisting the main admin team with basic administrative duties. The role will also involve basic first aid work, and an additional monthly allowance will be paid in recognition of this.
You will work under the direct supervision of the Headteacher’s PA as well as a small team of senior administrative officers.
We require:
• A team player who is happy to support different colleagues as required.
• Someone who can demonstrate attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Someone highly organised, who can prioritise tasks and manage a varying workload.
Experience working in a school office environment would be an advantage

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
