Whether you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or not, your passion for learning and your ability to engage and enthuse our students is the most important.JOB TITLE: LEARNER SUPPORT OFFICER (TEACHING ASSISTANT) LOCATION: KINGS LYNN HOURS: TERM-TIME ONLY (36 WEEKS PER YEAR), 3 - 5 DAYS PER WEEK/ 21 - 35 HOURS PER WEEK SALARY: £11.72 - £11.82 PER HOUR (£22,551 - £22,751 FTE) (PLUS ENHANCEMENT FOR LEAVE AS THIS IS A TERM-TIME ROLE) Learner Support Officers offer one to one and group support to learners both inside and outside of the classroom through a range of activities based on individual learner needs. We are recruiting to roles with a variety of hours on offer, with a minimum of 3 days per week. Our Learner Support Officers work across a range of departments and provide support in classrooms, workshops and at social time, depending of the individual needs of learners and their timetable. These are rewarding roles where no two days are the same, and involve pastoral support, personal care and the chance to make a real difference to learners lives. This is a chance to make a real difference to young people who need support in their educational career. We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Additional Learning Support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
