You will join a dedicated team committed to enhancing the education and wellbeing of all pupils. This role has the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
- Student Support: Conduct 1:1 and group sessions to help students develop positive behaviour and social skills.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues to create a pleasant and supportive learning environment.
- Role Modeling: Quickly build strong relationships with students and act as a positive role model.
- Target Setting: Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning materials.
- Experience: At least 6 months of relevant experience.
- Skills: Strong communication and verbal skills.
- Transportation: Must be able to drive to work.
- Training: Team Teach or equivalent training is desirable.

- As a Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils during lessons, helping them engage in their learning, and ensuring they stay regulated during break and lunch times.
- You will work with children in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, following the guidance of their class teacher to meet their individual needs.
- Good knowledge and experience working with pupils who may become dysregulated.
- Affinity for working with pupils with behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties.
- Resilience and high expectations for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their full potential.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
- A patient, compassionate, and understanding approach to working with children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality, championing the rights of students with SEN to access a high-quality education.
