The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK

Our duties include:

Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.

What does a live-in carer do?
As a professional live-in carer in the South West of England, you’ll provide personalised care that enables clients to stay in their own homes. What does a live-in carer do?
As a professional live-in carer in the South West of England, you’ll provide personalised care that enables clients to stay in their own homes. We offer flexible rota patterns to help you balance work and personal life, and we welcome carers with at least six months of professional experience. You’ll stay with your client during your chosen rota pattern, caring for one person (or sometimes a couple) and following a tailored care plan. Duties include daily activities, personal care, condition management, and household tasks. You’ll typically work an average of 8–10 hours per day, with daily rates based on hours worked.

About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full.
You might already be working as a live-in care assistant, or you might have professional experience as a support worker, care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting, or you might be a HCA working with the NHS. If you share our passion for quality care, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 months’ professional care experience gained in any care setting
- You must be able to provide us with proof of your right to work in the UK. We cannot assist with any sponsorship or visa requests – including those applying for a health and social care visa.

To work as a member of the dietetic team providing a comprehensive, effective and evidence based dietetic service for patients at University Hospitals Dorset, including but not limited to UGI cancer and gastroenterology patients. To manage the caseload of the upper GI oncology patients who require radical treatment (chemo/radiotherapy), and or radiotherapy and patients having palliative treatment. To independently formulate safe, appropriate and accurate treatment plans for oral, enteral & parenteral nutrition as part of care plans with the multi-disciplinary team. To work with the UHD nutrition support MDT to provide a weekly service in nutrition support to those with complex feeding issues. To provide support to both the surgical and gastroenterology wards at UHD giving specialist advice to patients with a variety of clinical conditions. Deliver a fortnightly gastroenterology outpatient clinic with support from the specialist gastroenterology dietitian.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian with an interest in surgical oncology and nutrition support across both our Poole and Bournemouth sites of UHD

Base Location: Cross site - Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth Hospital

The role is to provide specialist dietetic support to patients who have Upper GI cancers throughout their diagnosis, treatment and recovery. This will involve working with patients requiring radical and palliative treatment (chemo/radiotherapy/surgery) and also providing advice and support for patients requiring pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy.

The job will include close working with the wider multi-disciplinary team looking after this group of patients and attending consultant lead clinics. The role also includes the management of home enterally fed patients in liaison with the Home Enteral Feeding service and Dietitians at other local hospitals.

There is also the opportunity to provide support and cover to the Nutrition Support Team and Nutrition MDT, which can include PN management. You don't have to have direct experience of this to apply as we have a fantastic team who can provide training and support gaining skills in this area.

The successful applicant will receive clinical support and opportunities to develop their clinical expertise and knowledge regarding all aspects of the nutrition service settings through formal and informal training.

This role is autonomous and a genuine interest in oncology and a commitment to providing high standards of care for patients is essential as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a team.
