SEND Learning Support Assistant – BG7 (TTO pro rata)
Contract: This is a temporary post to start as soon as possible.
Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School currently has a vacancy for a full-time LSA for 32.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will be timetabled to work both as a Class LSA and as a 1:1 support with SEND pupils across the primary range. Experience of the classroom environment, knowledge of phonics, working with pupils with an ASC diagnosis, developmental delay and knowledge of Attention Autism and PECs would be desirable. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Long Cross for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our dedicated team working with our amazing two year olds.
The successful candidate will be working within a committed team to ensure that all the children are given the best opportunities to play and learn during their time at the Academy and will be working closely with the children’s parents and carers.
Your role will be to work with our 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• High expectations for achievement and behaviour
• The energy and creativity to inspire and motivate children
• A positive and forward thinking outlook
• The ability to work as part of a team and individually
