We're looking for a dedicated Inclusion Support teaching assistant to join our supportive team. You will work closely with the Assistant Vice Principal for Behaviour and Inclusion and you will be responsible for implementing, administering and overseeing the range of systems in place to support behaviour and inclusion across the academy.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the supervision of the students in an internal isolation area, ensuring that students follow meaningful activities designed to encourage them to take positive steps to change their behaviour while also continuing to study.
- Providing administrative support to the academy's detention system.
- Liaising with parents / carers so they are kept informed of any sanctions that have been put in place.
