Patient Movement

Kents Hill is an established purpose-built care home offering elderly residential, nursing and dementia care. As a Youth Worker/Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs. You will:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to secondary-age pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties, helping them engage with their learning and manage their behaviour effectively.
- Develop trusting relationships with students to encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment and implementing individualised support plans.

- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to support the overall progress of the pupils.
- Manage difficult situations with a calm, non-judgmental approach, promoting a safe and caring environment.

- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
