Miners Court is Coastline’s extra care living facility in Redruth, providing an integrated care and support service that promotes independence for all our customers. As a Extra Care & Support Assistant you will work with our customers to flexibly to meet their individual needs, in accordance with their care and support plans. We currently have a vacancy for a 30 hour Flexi Contract. The hours for this position are below:

30 hour permanent Flexi contract -
Rota issued 1 month in advance to include a variety of shifts, evenings, weekends and night shifts, full flexibility required as this will be covering annual leave and other absence. £13.02 per hour, increasing to £14.13 after successful completion of training.

Day to day you will:

• Assist customers with all aspects of daily living and personal care including undressing, bathing and showering, and dental and mouth care; toileting, feeding, dressing and moving individuals according to agreed manual handling techniques (using the equipment/aids provided in the trained and agreed manner).
• Support customers with cleaning, cooking, shopping and attending appointments as required. • Administer medication as appropriate and accurately record this as instructed.
•Maintain accurate records of daily occurrences relating to the wellbeing of customers.
•Complete and regularly updating care and support plans with customers

Day to day, you will visit clients in their own homes and may support them to get washed and dressed (personal care, including toileting needs), or make sure they have grocery supplies, take their medication and have a hot meal, you'll also help them out with household tasks. But that's not why their eyes will light up when you arrive. That'll be because of what you bring to their lives. Human company, reassurance and hopefully some fun.

- We have work in Nottingham including Woodthorpe, Lenton, Hyson Green and surrounding areas

- Mileage is paid

- Your shifts will usually include one weekend in two and flexibility is essential

We are looking for a personable individual who have a patient and positive attitude and who celebrates diversity. The role is to support the progress and learning of students in the Additional Needs Faculty. The successful candidate will provide additional, targeted support and provision, along with specialist, individualised support and provision to students. Specifically addressing a designated category of special educational needs and disabilities, as directed by the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion (SENDCo). We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Teaching Assistant to work with students in mainstream education and within our Learning Support provision.
