SALARY: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum + Benefits

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm (Due to the nature of this role, some work is required outside of normal hours)


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Engineer with good troubleshooting, fault-finding and repair skills and experience within a production environment preferably with vacuum, pneumatics, electronics, high voltage, flammable gases, workshop equipment and woodwork skills.

Working as the Senior Maintenance Engineer you will be part of the Engineering Team and will play a key role supporting production. The role will be to ensure that production equipment is maintained and that any breakdowns are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be required to support in the general day to day maintenance of the buildings and their infrastructure that makes up the company.

As the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you would be responsible for machinery maintenance and breakdowns, and support with all facilities maintenance and fabrication.

You will be working closely with the other engineers, and will help them develop their skills with vacuum, pneumatics, high voltage, PLC, furnaces, glass working lathes and many other unique pieces of equipment.

What will you be doing?

You will report to the Registered Manager to ensure the service meets the CQC requirements. You will ensure that information within the Service is accurate and up to date and reviewed to meet requirements. Job Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Cambridge for a Senior Internal Auditor. This role is pivotal in supporting the Head of Shared Internal Audit in delivering a comprehensive audit function across key areas, including contracting, information governance, ICT, project management, and corporate governance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring the efficient and secure use of resources, and providing valuable advice to the Local Authority and its partners.

Main responsibilities

• Perform risk-based audits and reviews of key financial systems as outlined in the annual Audit Plan.
• Prepare reports on control effectiveness, and compliance, and propose actions to address any weaknesses or non-compliance.
• Offer guidance on various organisational activities, including projects, procurement, and system procedures.
• Lead special investigations, including whistleblowing reviews, as required.
• Supervise peer reviews and stay updated on audit techniques and technological advancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Part-qualified or fully qualified CCAB or MIIA.
• Proven experience in internal auditing, with a solid understanding of risk-based auditing practices.
• Excellent ability to communicate, interpret data, and produce clear, concise reports.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and other essential IT skills.
• A professional attitude, with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing demands, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To supervise the day-to-day delivery of care, to ensure those service users’ needs are met and that they participate appropriately in daily household and leisure activities
