Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Senior Support Worker to work within specialist supported living and residential services for people with learning disabilities and complex needs in Lancashire.

Daily Duties

The successful applicant will assist in the day to day running of the home and to maintain high standards of care and service towards service users, relatives, visitors, and other members of staff.

You will deliver care to service users as directed by the service user plan for that individual, reporting any changes or concerns to the senior member of staff on duty.

You will support enabling people to have the most fulfilling lives possible, with respect, caring attitudes and understanding. This includes enabling them to enjoy activities such as swimming, cycling, carriage riding, yoga and much more.

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic Senior Support Workers who genuinely want to make a difference, providing meaningful high-quality care and support for our service users.

Permanent Contract

1. Senior Support Worker (NVQ 2) - £12.40ph PAYE
2. Senior Support Worker (NVQ3) - £13.20ph PAYE

Day Cover: 08:00 - 22:00

This would be based on a 2 weekly rolling rota working every other weekend.

Person Specification

• The successful Senior Support Worker must have recent employed experience within Learning Disabilities or Mental Health
• The applicant must be prepared to carry out regular personal care with dignity and privacy.
• The successful applicant must have previous Senior Support Worker or Support Team Leader Experience alongside NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• The successful applicant must be flexible to work on the two weekly rota and work every other weekend.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will manipulate, analyse, and present data to provide business and operational insight. The role will have a core focus on Power BI reporting and will need you to assess data through exploratory data analysis, develop clear visualisations, and to clearly communicate to a variety of audiences.

• analyse data to assess quality, making recommendations based on findings
• analyse data in different systems in preparation for migration or integration, working with business stakeholders to support data cleaning where required
• manipulate and link different datasets to compare data or create data models for use in analytics
• summarise and communicate your analytical findings about data to a variety of different stakeholders both verbally and through visualisation
• collaborate with analytical disciplines across Parliament to improve performance measurement processes

What You Need

• your experience of analysis and statistics and use of tools such as Power BI, will have led you to develop metrics and data visualisations that accurately represent data and convey business meaning so that decision makers have the information they need.
• your experience of using SQL or other querying, statistical or scripting languages, will mean you are able to effectively manipulate datasets for the purpose of migration, integration, or reporting.
• your experience of working in a diverse team and/or with diverse stakeholders will mean you form effective working relationships, adapting your working style and communication to accommodate the needs of others whilst upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion
• excellent oral communication skills, with proven ability to manage and form effective working relationships with key customers and stakeholders to elicit information and inform decisions.

Together with our catering teams, they strive to achieve 5 star ratings, deliver training in our services and work closely with our Group Head of Hospitality and Regional Hospitality team to deliver exciting Group projects as our Hospitality offering continues to develop.

This role will be covering the southern region of our estate.

About you

As an Executive Chef at Maria Mallaband Care Group, you will demonstrate dedication and enthusiasm together with a strong attention to detail. Your passion for food will be paramount and you will look forward to inspiring others through your leadership skills, while also showing good commercial acumen to make sound business decisions. Good management presence is a must, together with the ability to build and nurture relationships with our key stakeholders and local community. Working in busy kitchen environments, you will not be phased by pressure and will be able to communicate tasks and priorities at all levels.

• Previous experience in catering or hospitality in a Head Chef role
• Appropriate qualifications

Main duties

• Working with and supporting the team.

• To be able to accurately diagnose software and hardware faults and to be able to resolve a large proportion of client problems via remote networking and client site visits.
