We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager for our clients main dealer site in the Dover area.

This is a superb opportunity for a Service Manager to work for a busy and well established main dealer site, working for a strong brand.

You will be looking after a busy and professional department where your remit will be to manage all aspects of the department: From day to day running of the Workshop, managing the Technicians / Mechanics to achieve maximum productivity, making sure that the Service Advisors are very customer focused and achieved upselling targets to budget and KPI monitoring.

You will also be working closely with the senior management to ensure that key objectives and strategies are met, we are looking for someone who is constantly looking to improve the department and to exceed targets.

You will be an individual who prides themselves on customer service, works well with the staff to get the best out of the department and someone who will make the department their own. This is a busy department with a strong reputation within the area.

We will look at some from either a prestige or volume background as it's individual and proven qualities that we are looking for.

A proven and solid Aftersales/Service Management background is essential as we need the individual to be of the highest calibre

Main Dealership experience is essential. At least 3 years

Key responsibilities:

Labour Management

Partner with the client to ensure the right quantity, quality and skills mix of operatives are provided within agreed time lines;
Manage the transfer of labour between projects, locally and nationally;
Visit each customer project / location in accordance with your teams servicing plan;
Deliver or collect PPE / tools / equipment when necessary;
Review worker performance weekly and take necessary action regarding client and operative;
Complete Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) reports weekly and send to clients where appropriate.

Sales/ Account Management

Create and develop business opportunities with both existing and new clients;
Focus on selling all grades of workers and support services supplied by the company, on temporary hired, contract hired workers or permanent placement fee basis, as agreed with your line manager;
Maintain contact, build and maintain a good working relationship with existing clients by way of pro-active telephone contact and 'face to face' meetings;
Recruit various grades of operatives as and when required by the needs of the contracts you are managing or the company;
Arrange regular site visits with operatives, increasing interaction at the workface;

Training
Deliver all soft skill training and site inductions.

Essential requirements for this position include:

Previous recruitment experience within ports/civils resourcing;
