The post holder will be part of a small IT Service Desk team and will provide first line IT and Clinical Application support to the trust. We are looking for a Director of the South East Academy who will be responsible for leading the Academy and ensuring that all National One NHS Finance initiatives are delivered within the South East region as well as locally agreed initiatives. You will work closely with NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, and the representative professional bodies for all functions.

Working alongside the Chief Finance Officers and their teams in NHS organisations across the South East of England and with multiple national bodies to ensure that the complex development needs of all staff are met.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to undertake the role of Senior Nurse for the newly launched ‘Getting the Basics Right Programme. The extensive programme focuses on driving clinically led changes to significantly improve the way in which we carry out day to day tasks in clinical services.

Together we will improve staff experience by streamlining processes and removing unwarranted variation whilst enabling digital and information programmes.

The post holder will act as a link between clinical services and the programme providing clinical expertise to support the development, design, and implementation of new ways of working. They will lead the discussions and engagement with services ensuring that staff are taken on the improvement journey and importantly make sure that suggestions/ideas for improvement are acted upon and tested. They will work closely with the newly appointed Chief Nursing/AHP Information Officer who is responsible for data and digital literacy and the establishment of a Digital Champions Network.

The postholder will lead the clinical discussions ensuring significant engagement with all staff working in services commencing with community teams. They will be responsible for ensuring that any re-engineering changes are clinically safe (working alongside the Digital Clinical Safety Officer) and can be maintained.
