The Role

As Front of House Team Member you will mainly work on the Reception desk providing a warm welcome and great service to our guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Previous experience with Opera is an advantage as you will of course be helping our guests with Check-in and Check-Out, however more than that you will have the opportunity to really get to know your guests in order to better anticipate their needs and deliver a truly personalised experience. You will need to be proactive in solving guest queries and be able to do your best work while remaining cool and calm in busy times. Our Front of House Teams work a shift rota so you will need to be comfortable working five days out of seven, with some early shifts and some late shifts.

We are seeking a two Team Leaders to join our supported living homes in Dulwich, Southwark.

• Part-time role - 20 hours per week, requiring you to work 20 hours per week working flexibly across the 24/7 shift rota (This position has a “genuine occupational requirement” covered under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and therefore only applications from females can be considered)
• Full time role - 37.5 hours per week, working flexibly across the 24/7 shift rota.

The support we provide is centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs this includes developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs. In this role you’ll also lead and support a team of support workers.

You will:

• Proven previous experience of working with people with learning disability and autism
• Relevant social care qualification or working towards
• Previous management experience is desirable along with a management qualification
• Experience developing skills within a team
• Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills
• Resilience to overcome challenges

Your responsibilities:

• To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead

• Provide great leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers.

• Assist the locality manager in the supervision, coaching and mentoring of the team.

• Provide direct care and support to the people we support and model best practice.

• Co-ordinate the daily provision of support and activities for people we support to ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient service.

• You’ll have finances and other resources to manage, along with legal requirements and standards of care to meet.

• Basic salary equates to £14.73 - 15.35 per hour - depending on experience
