A Vacancy at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a post for applicants with anaesthesia and intensive care medicine (ICM) experience at CT (or equivalent) level as the post rotates through general anaesthesia, obstetric anaesthesia and ICM. The post is ideal for applicants between CT and higher anaesthesia / ICM training.
We welcome applicants who are currently in the process of applying for a training post in anaesthesia / ICM. During your time with us, you will be able to complete all of the necessary competencies for Stage 1 top-up training in Anaesthesia over 12-15 months in this post. Please do not apply if you do not have this required experience.
The post is required to meet the increasing demand for anaesthetic and Critical Care services within the Trust. The post will be a combination of service, teaching and out of hours, rotating between general anaesthesia, obstetric anaesthesia and Intensive Care for periods of 3-6 months by arrangement. NB with respect to Intensive Care, there will be a mix of clinical commitments at Bristol Royal Infirmary and Weston General Hospital.
