JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the role is to: Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, whether in person or via the telephone. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice. Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies. Taking messages and passing on information. Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail Filing and retrieving paperwork Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures and scanning of clinical documents. Job Details

• Responsible for the accuracy of ETL (extract, transform and load) processes for Customer Insight data ingestion, transformation, cleaning and modelling, ensuring alignment with analytics functions across the wider business
• Responsible for setting and maintaining process for data quality and integrity, through various testing, monitoring and validation techniques
• Working with big data on our data and analytical platforms, developing complex SQL queries integrating customer data with operational and commercial datasets.
• Generating Insight that identifies improvement opportunities in-line with business goals through root cause analysis
• Building data products and tools that enable business teams and analytical functions to drive value, ensuring products are accessible, well documented and easy to use
• Responsible for engagement between data consumers and data engineering teams, interpreting requirements and helping shape the business' data strategy

Skills we would love you to have

• Extensive experience of working as an analyst in a corporate environment
• Proven background in owning and delivering analytical projects, structuring analysis and deliverables to ensure stakeholder requirements are met - displaying great verbal and written communication with the ability to tell a story using the data
• Strong skills in the use of MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint), programming languages (SQL, R, Python, Embles, SAS) and Visualisation Tools (Power BI)

Working within the Havens Hospices Care settings and Southend Site pharmacy, you will lead the Palliative and End of Life pharmacy service in collaboration with the senior managers and clinical collegues from both Havens Hopices and the MSE Pharmacy Oncology team.

You will be responsible for supporting the medicines management agenda within Havens Hospices Care settings, providing a comprehensive clinical service for both adult and children & young people’s inpatient services.

You will support the Southend site oncology service with clinical pharmacy activity e.g. chemotherapy prescription verification.

You will need to be an experienced clinical pharmacist, with palliative, end of life and (preferably)oncology expertise, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal/relationship building skills, have good service delivery and management experience, and a proven track record of delivering change within dynamic environments.

Ideally you will be a qualified independent prescriber.

We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and dynamic individual who will develop and evolve this newly created post.

Main duties:
• To provide, with the support of senior colleagues, the delivery of a medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy service to all areas within Havens Hospices; be a proactive and engaged member of Havens Hospices Medicines Management team.
• Closely liaise with multidisciplinary colleagues to facilitate a co-ordinated approach to palliative and end of life drug monitoring and control in line with formulary adherence.throughout the organisation.
• Be the point of contact for all hospice staff to aid in medicines-related problem solving and ensure supplies of end-of-life medicines.
• Monitor drug expenditure within specialty, produce budget statements and drug usage reports, interpret and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Develop treatment guidelines with clinicians to promote evidence-based, cost-effective prescribing, considering all relevant local and national policies and procedures.
• Act as an independent prescriber and prescribe as appropriate for patients within designated area of competence.

This is a rewarding role, ideal for someone passionate about helping young individuals develop independent living skills in a safe and supportive environment.

THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Worker, you will be responsible for supporting young people in their transition to independent living, providing essential guidance and support to help them thrive within the community. You will work with young people to develop their life skills, provide housing-related support, and ensure that they adhere to tenancy agreements.

• Act as a 'Keyworker' to a group of identified young people, managing and coordinating their individual support packages.
• Conduct 'welcome' sessions with new residents, explaining house rules and the support structure.
• Complete initial safety plans and needs assessments for each young person, coordinating a tailored support package.
• Assist young people in attending appointments and accessing external services.
• Promote independent living skills, including budgeting, personal hygiene, and cooking.
• Support young people to engage in education, training, and employment (ETE) options.
• Liaise with external agencies, ensuring that all relevant information is shared confidentially.

THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a similar support or housing management role, particularly those with a background in working with young people. You should be confident in managing challenging behaviours and capable of providing positive, solution-focused support.

• Proven experience supporting young people or vulnerable adults, ideally in a housing or support worker capacity.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with external agencies.
• Experience in managing tenancy agreements and housing-related responsibilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate young people, encouraging them to develop independent living skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.

THE CONTRACT

• 35 hours per week, 8:15 pm - 7:45 am Monday to Friday, including 1 in 4 weekends.
• 3-month contract with potential extension.
• Pay: £15.72 per hour LTD / £13.40 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday).
