The incumbent serves as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) who is responsible for assistance to Veterans providing a smooth process for the management of his/her outpatient appointments as well as support work in connection with the care and treatment given to the Veterans by performing a variety of support duties that facilitate the work of an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery for specialty care, ensuring that the clinic setup is closely monitored to effectively support the needs of the clinic, and make any necessary adjustments, working in collaboration with the appropriate clinic, develops and maintains effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary team, VA medical centers, and other agencies. TVHS provides a full range of specialized medical services including MRI, electrophysiological studies, catheter ablations, atherectomies, stent placements, laser surgery, dialysis, CT scanning, cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, otolaryngology, anesthesiology, percutaneous angioplasty, diagnosis and surgical intervention of head and neck tumors, peripheral vascular surgery, digital angiography, ambulatory surgery, brainstem auditory invoked response testing, major joint prosthetic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, alcohol and drug treatment, intermediate and geriatric medicine, a geriatric evaluation management program, mammography, preventive medicine, and podiatry. The AMSA will review the clinics appointment schedule to ensure that clinic utilization is optimized and effectively supports the needs of the clinics as well as the needs of the Veterans. This position includes, but is not limited to, work that requires a practical knowledge of computerized data entry and information processing systems, setting priorities and deadlines, participating and providing input in problem solving on operational issues or procedures in team meetings, performing administrative follow up actions; evaluating patient information and clinic schedule lists to determine whether a patient is vested; educating providers about shared patients who may be receiving care at multiple VA's or in the community, the medical facility's organization and services, rules and regulations governing eligibility and treatment, practical knowledge of the standard procedures, medical records, medical terminology, security of sensitive electronic files, process improvement, and customer service. What does the Customer Experience Manager do?

Under the leadership of the Store Manager, directly leads the Support Lead, Lead Cashier(s) (if applicable) and associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Customer Experience Manager (CEM) is responsible to “Wow the Customer”, front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety and driving sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all associates and managers are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers
• Responsible for achieving CSAT score goals provided by the District Manager
• Responsible for leading Front End Operations
• Training the staff on the High Fives of Customer Service
• Ensures that each guest has a fast, friendly, checkout
• Responsible for maintaining the store cleanliness, recovery, and ready for customers at all times
• Responsible for opening and closing store procedures
• Responsible for performing SM duties in their absence
• Assists in supervising all Associates
• Assists in training all Associates
• Assists in coaching all Associates
• Assists in developing all Associates
• Assists in staff scheduling
• Reviews all corporate communications and reacts accordingly
• Partners with supervisors or corporate office regarding store issues
• Drives store sales and controls expenses
• Drives store sales which may include performing in all Five Below services (ear piercing, balloons, buy online pick up in store, etc.)
• Uses financial reporting to drive business opportunities
• Assists payroll process and ensures budget is in line with plan
• Assists in merchandising procedures
• Adheres to and holds associates accountable to all Five Below’s Standard Operating Procedures(SOP)
• Responsible for cash handling procedures including but not limited to preparing and dropping bank deposits
• Authorizes register functions including post voids, returns and discounts
• Complies with Human Resources policies and procedures
• Assists in receiving and stocking procedures

• Unloads merchandise from trucks
• Checks in shipments
• Stages merchandise for the sales floor
• Packs out merchandise
• Responsible for ensuring Candy, Crafts, and Sports Worlds are set and maintained to Brand Standards
• Accountable for driving Key Metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control
• Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Description:

A Service Specialist is part of a team that provides various administrative support to our clients which may include; copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities and receptionist services.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule

• Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions

• Reception includes answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person, will greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner

• Hospitality Services includes coordinator and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed.

• Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance

• Facilities Services may include hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.

• Hours of this position are 10:00a.m to 7:00p.m - Monday to Friday

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer services field

• Ability to multitask with attention to detail

• Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact

• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

• Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.

• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.
