Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is currently seeking a Care Assistant to provide care and support to a Service User with C2 spinal cord injury with a Tracheostomy and fully dependent on ventilation to breathe. The service user has full capacity and care will be provided in the Service user's own home.

• The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Schedules, plans, and conducts comprehensive, on-site and virtual reviews of small- to mid-sized FAS cooperators, participants, grant recipients, and private voluntary organizations' financial systems.
• Conducts analysis of the following areas (but not limited to): micro purchase credit card transactions; representation fund expenses; administration of petty cash; unliquidated obligations; travel vouchers; procurement actions and expenses.
• Prepares and submits comprehensive and well-documented review file workpapers to the supervisor or designated senior specialist for review.
• Assists senior level Compliance Review Specialists with conducting special surveys, studies, and reviews of FAS programs, policies, and procedures and prepares recommendations for improvement.
• Assists in reviewing and evaluating existing and proposed legislation and regulations to determine the impact they may have on FAS operational systems, and whether they have adequate safeguards to detect or prevent fraud, waste, and mismanagement.
• Assesses internal controls of the organizations for: adequacy of safeguarding FAS resources; accuracy and reliability of data furnished to FAS; and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• May perform a variety of technical procedures including capture, restraint, chemical immobilization, marking, transport, euthanasia, and/or necropsy of wildlife; collection of biological samples.
• May be required to take extensive training and recurrent training on wildlife damage or disease recognition, control methods, and techniques.
• Modifies or adapts established damage or disease control techniques as necessary to meet local conditions and address specific environmental, economic, or political considerations.
• Provides technical assistance to a variety of cooperators, along with conducting site visits or assessments to identify wildlife damage issues or threats.
• Gathers, compiles, evaluates, and presents data on damage or hazards caused by various wildlife species to cooperators, stakeholders, and colleagues through project or program reports.
• Assists other WS employees as requested and may assist in training new WS personnel. May be asked to provide technical direction and/or guidance to lower graded employees.
• May be responsible for procuring equipment and supplies necessary to conduct field activities and may be asked to complete other duties as assigned.
• Represents the WS program on committees and task forces, and at meetings, conferences, and workshops with these groups.
• May develop and deliver training for cooperators, stakeholders, partner agencies and organizations, or other entities.
