We are a friendly, supportive community neuro rehab team, recently expanded to include Occupational Therapy. We work closely with other co-located adult community therapies teams.

We offer in-service team training, effective supervision, Band 6 OT peer support and external training opportunities through the Trust. You will be supervised by band 7 Occupational Therapist and supported by an established band 8a neuro specialist Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who wishes to develop a their skills with a diverse caseload within community services.

The services are located near Enfield Town, with easy commuter links from central London/Hertfordshire and proximity to M25.

A car driver is essential for this role.

To perform comprehensive occupational therapy assessment of patients with diverse neurological presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To use this assessment to provide a clinical diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

To deliver a high standard of occupational therapy care to patients and their carers in the community.

To hold responsibility for own caseload and, working without direct supervision deliver a range of occupational therapy interventions and support to patients and their carers. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case review and case conferences. Access to advice and support from a more senior occupational therapist is available when required.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

With support and guidance from more senior staff, to undertake evidence-based audit and or research projects to further own and team’s clinical practice. Make recommendations to clinical lead/manager of service for changes to practice by the team. The post holder may contribute to the implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols.

To contribute to the delivery of health promotion activities within the service and wider Trust initiatives.

To provide cover for other occupational therapists in the service as required.

Exciting opportunity for an Oncology Nurse to join our Clinical homecare company on a temp basis, this role is field based and the most importantly you able to get back to the 1:1 patient care.

We are looking for Oncology Nurse to join our oncology division on a temporary basis, our oncology nurses are a little different, you will be field based, and supporting patients in their homes for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and patient training.

Working as part of a wider oncology team who look after 100,000 patients each year, you will be mainly working solo for most of your time. On average our Oncology Nurse see 1 – 3 patients in their homes each day, however these may be spread out across the region so you will need to be prepared for the driving to each location.

Oncology Nurse requirements:

- Experience nurse with a valid NMC PIN & either:

- Inhouse Oncology training to administer SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) cannulation and venepuncture competency

My client is looking to add an experienced Deputy Service Manager to their award winning team in Banbury.

The company specialise in caring for adults with learning disabilities and mission statement is to ensure all service users experience life to the full – from enjoyment, satisfaction and improved health to finding meaningful friendships and paid employment.

The Role:

• Coaching and mentoring new colleagues.
• Demonstrating practice leadership.
• Monitoring the levels of Person-Centred Active Support (PCAS) being demonstrated and looking for ways we can continually improve.
• Observing, coaching and giving feedback to colleagues who are working towards their Care Certificate on how well they demonstrate the required skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Leading team or house meetings
• Involvement in ‘Voices to be Heard’.
• Working with families and other circles of support.

Required:
