Purpose and Objectives

To ensure that a high standard of support, advice and encouragement is offered to all residents in the home by ensuring that you work on the person-centred plan with all young people on a daily basis.
To ensure that the provision you work in is maintained to a high standard of appearance / upkeep / presentation and that the health and safety of both the home and residents is prioritised at all times.
To ensure that all paperwork relevant to the home is completed to a professional standard, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and working with other agencies as required.

Duties

To have responsibility for the running of the home on each shift, ensuring all legislation and all company policies are complied with at all times.

To attend Post 16 training and workshops and any other training deemed necessary to further your knowledge of the provision.
To have knowledge of each young resident’s person-centred support plan and ensure that you are working with the document daily in a creative manner.
To ensure that you are familiar with the policies and procedures within the Post 16 provision and the wider company policies and procedures.
To write and compile reports, update risk assessments (as necessary) and to ensure that you complete each task on the daily checklist.
To work collaboratively with other Post 16 team members across the post 16 service, to ensure consistency and development of the service.
To ensure you attend and engage with team meetings, individual and group supervisions.
To manage your own workload effectively ensuring that all tasks are fulfilled by required deadlines.
