Support Worker - Upper Parkstone, Poole

Are you a calm, reassuring person who wants to make a difference to somebody's life on a daily basis? Dimensions is seeking a Support Worker, in the Upper Parkstone area of Poole, who will enable the independence of a gentleman in his 40's who lives in his own home.
The gentleman, who is autistic and has a learning disability, would like to meet a Part-TimeSupport Worker who will be happy to get involved with the things he enjoys doing. These include:
- Spending time in his summer house
- Relaxing in the garden when the weather is fine
- Going out for picnics
- Visiting his parents
- Going for short walks in the local area
The gentleman needs his support worker to be able to work long day shifts (07.00-22.00 and 07.45-21.00) as well as undertaking one sleep in shift (22.00-07.00) shift per week. Dimensions are pleased to be able to offer Support Workers a payrate of £12.52 per hour for this role (sleep in shifts are paid at an allowance of £50 per sleep).
As the gentleman has his own vehicle, it is essential that all Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License.
Support Workers may also have to assist with finances, meal preparation and prompt personal care.
