Bury Mental Health Support Team (MHST)started mobilising in September 2022, we are currently operational in 25 of our 31 identified MHST schools/colleges and we are looking forward to fully mobilising in all our education settings in line with recruitment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner's (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP’s) to join our lovely team. Please note potential candidates must have already successfully completed the HEE commissioned 1yr 'Education Mental Health Practitioner' course or the equivalent 'Children's Wellbeing Practitioner' course.

Developing skills insupportingchildren and young people experiencingmild to moderate mental health difficulties, their parents/carers, families and educators in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
Developing and practicingEvidence-Basedskills and working in partnership with children, young people, their families and educators in the development of treatment plans for the specific intervention and agreeing outcomes.
Work incollaborationwith children and young people and where appropriate parents/carers to formulate and develop agreed treatment plan.

We are currently a hybrid team, staffs therefore work flexibly across their allocated schools, pennine care sites and there is some flexibility to complete admin work at home if preferred.
