About the Role
As Head of Department of Secondary and Further Education, you will be responsible for the vision and operational planning related to all aspects of the Department of Secondary and Further Education, which includes internal leadership for the preparation of Ofsted inspections, curriculum development and design, recruitment & retention, student employability and quality management.

About You
An inspirational leader, you will have experience of developing, managing and leading new initiatives, projects and courses. Adaptable, resilient and with high levels of emotional intelligence, you will be a key player in fulfilling the vision and ambitions of the Faculty of Education.
You will have the communication skills required to build relationships, along with experience of research, consultancy, evidence-based practice and publication or innovation.
It is important to note that the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and that this will form part of the conditions of offer of employment.
