This post will be principally focussed on leading on future REF submissions for the University of Northampton and managing the Research Support Team to develop and deliver support that enables our Researchers to maximise their potential. About You

The Education Funding Team Manager will put in place and maintain systems relating to Education Services finances. The post holder will provide an integral role in enabling the Service to successfully meet all its funding and payment duties.

As a Team Leader, your main duties will be to:
· Participate in planning meetings for the admissions of new young people to the home.
· Review and update placement plans and care plans for the young people.
· Assist young people in adjusting when moving into the home, providing support and guidance.
· Encourage young people to be independent and support them in learning life skills.
· Provide a safe, nurturing, and comforting environment for all residents.
· Complete health and safety risk assessments to ensure a secure living space.
· Ensure all staff and residents follow policies and procedures.
· Assist young people with their educational plans and support their personal development.
· Provide support and guidance to young people, encouraging their growth and independence.
· Support and assist with household tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and light cleaning duties.
· Supervise and support residential care workers.
· Provide mentoring and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
· Create reports and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
· Attend Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.

To be a Team Leader, we require you to have:
· Level 3 Diploma in children and young people (desirable)
· 1years’ experience as a Residential Childcare Care Worker
· Full driving licence

Working as a Registered Manager you will take full responsibility of a new Ofsted registered, children’s home. You will undertake management of the efficient operation, delivery, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure successful registration with Ofsted, actively contributing to recruitment, systems, and policy development.
• Proactively address and resolve complaints and concerns, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and supervise social workers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and empowered team.
• Craft and implement a top-notch Quality Assurance policy, working together with the quality assurance team to exceed Service Standards.
• Facilitate and participate in regular team meetings, fostering open communication and collective success.
