An Introduction to the EMHP Programme at UEA The EMHP Programme at UEA uses blended learning, comprised of face-to-face teaching at UEA and online teaching, self-directed study days and supervised practice within employing MHSTs to allow trainees to develop the required clinical competence and confidence relevant to the role of an EMHP. Our team have extensive experience of working psychologically with children and young people across a range of settings and interventions. The teaching team includes lecturers with experience of delivering low intensity mental health interventions - who can use their experience to support, model and teach these skills positively alongside those with expertise in the field of children and young peoples mental health and education. We also use a range of external Associate Tutors and Guest lecturers to support teaching. Throughout the year are a range of assessments and assignments to demonstrate learning outcomes and assess clinical skills and competency. In addition to learning the theory and practice for delivering evidence-based low intensity assessments and treatments for children and young people, taught modules will cover how to work in, understand the processes of, and engage with education settings. This is afull-time training programme which requires the successful completion of each of the 6 modules outlined below, as well as a portfolio evidencing clinical practice competencies Module 1 Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Settings: Context and Values Module 2 Assessment & Engagement Module 3 Evidence-based Interventions for Common Mental Health Problems with Children and Young People (Theory and Skills) Module 4 Working, Assessing and Engaging in Educational Settings Module 5 Common Problems and Processes in Educational Settings Module 6 Interventions for Emerging Mental Health Difficulties in Educational Settings On successful completion of the course, trainees will qualify as an Educational Mental Health Practitioner with a Diploma / PG Diploma (120 credits). The Role

Essex Legal Services (ELS) provides high quality, professional, legal advice across the Council and to increasing numbers of external clients.

As a caseworker in the Children and Education Team you will assist the lawyers to provide a high-quality advice and litigation service to meet the Council's corporate objectives and will support legally qualified and other colleagues, in providing routine admin and quasi legal tasks. Working directly to lawyers and paralegals, you will be commissioned to undertake various tasks such as preparing court bundles, organising meetings and administrative support. You will contribute to delivering a more efficient, professional service that is valued by our customers and improves their business.

The Children and Education legal team deal with highly sensitive, sometimes distressing, cases relating to child protection matters. You should therefore be resilient and empathetic. The team works at a very fast pace, often dealing with several urgent matters and it is therefore essential you are able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.

The Opportunity

You will support legally qualified colleagues in the delivery of all aspects of routine legal work within the Children and Education team across the Council and to external customers which will include:

• Dealing predominantly with public law cases including care proceedings and adoption proceedings;
• Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of your allocated lawyers' day to day activities;
• Liaising with external solicitors, barristers, courts and CAFCASS;
• Processing applications, preparing court bundles;
• Lodging documents with the Court and other parties via the Family Public Law online portal;
• Diary management;
• General administration, including preparing bundles photocopying and scanning.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Teacher of German to join our busy Department.

The post would be suitable for a Graduate with a Degree in German who is interested in pursuing a teaching qualification. Currently, the School trains teachers through the University of Buckingham's Teacher Apprenticeship route (with the option to add the PGCE), and we also have a new connection with the National Modern Languages SCITT for whom we are hosting two MFL trainee teachers this year.

The post would also be suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) in either their first or second year of the Early Career Framework. ECTs at WHSB follow the ECF training through the National Institute of Teaching. ECTs also benefit from a reduced timetable and a dedicated mentor.
