Duties:

• Induct candidates into appropriate vocational or industry qualifications, ensuring alignment with the standards of relevant awarding bodies.
• Prepare and deliver vocational learning activities using various methods including blended learning, which are contextualised to real-world environments and aligned to the candidates' work place.
• Deliver meta skills unit in line with qualification requirements.
• Support the development of candidates' knowledge and skills pertinent to their vocational fields.
• Conduct regular timely visits with candidates in their work place as per College policy and candidate assessment plan.
• Design bespoke assessment plans for each candidate, relevant to their vocational or industry qualifications and workplace environments.
• Conduct assessments in the workplace or related environments, observing and assessing candidates against occupational standards.

• Ensure assessments are fair, safe, and reliably measure the candidate's own skills and knowledge.

As a Technical Trainer at Mowi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees are equipped with the necessary food safety and quality knowledge and skills to excel in their roles within our food manufacturing plant. Working in conjunction with the Factory Training Manager and Site Technical & Compliance Manager to ensure that the training matrix is maintained as a working live document. You will design, develop and deliver training programmes tailored to various technical aspects of our operations, focusing on food safety, quality and authenticity, production processes and techniques and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

1.Training Programme Development
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programmes.
- Design engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and interactive modules.
- Continuously update training materials to reflect the latest advancements in technology and best practices.

2. Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at various levels, including operatives, team leaders and various management.

5. Documentation and Reporting

6. Continuous Improvement

Qualifications
