Role
As our Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring every child is challenged and supported.
• Prepare pupils for SATs through a well-structured, balanced approach that promotes learning and well-being.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Utilise data to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with the KS2 team, support staff, and parents to maximise pupil success and school engagement.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and motivated educator with:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6 knowledge.
• A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and experience with SATs preparation.
• Strong classroom management skills, fostering an environment of respect, responsibility, and curiosity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• A passion for supporting children’s development both academically and personally, inspiring them to achieve their best.
