About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join the team at a local SEMH school. Your new role

Your new school
We are working with a school in Stoke-on-Trent which is in need of an ICT and Business Studies teacher on a full-time basis. However, should we get two strong applicants apply, part-time would also be considered with one teacher taking on the ICT element over two days per week, and the other teacher taking on the Business Studies element, for three days per week. This school is a forward-thinking school, and they are very versatile in their teaching approach. They thrive on positivity and enhancing pupils' learning in every way possible.

Your new role
You will either be teaching a mixture of KS3 and KS4 ICT and Business on a full-time basis, or, one of those subjects part-time, depending on the strength of the other part-time candidate selected. You will be starting school from after Christmas, and this will continue until February half-term 2025 in the first instance, with the view to continuing if all is working for both parties. You will have the full teaching responsibility and the correct PPA time will be allocated to you on a weekly basis.

Your new school
This secondary school in Stafford is a large secondary school and always reaches its capacity ahead of new intakes. The staff here have been at this school for many years, which has kept its SLT reputation solid. You will be working at a GOOD Ofsted rated school where they are always striving for improvements to make their school as good as possible for both staff and pupils.

Your new role
You will be taking on a full-time Science role from January 2025, and will be required to teach all three sciences to both KS3 and KS4 pupils for one term in full, covering a planned operation. Having a candidate with a specialism in chemistry or biology would be advantageous, although not essential. The role will require you to take on the planning and preparation required, along with being able to complete assessments for the pupils you teach. This role will be on a full-time basis. However, for the right candidate, four days would also be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to hold QTS in the UK. Experience teaching all three science subjects is essential. Both fully qualified teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
