Winning Work & Client Relationships

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the client plan and positive client relationships.
• Responsible for achievement of revenue and relevant utilisation targets, developing of client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs, and signoff as required.

Project Delivery

• Accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned. This includes but is not limited to contract negotiation, project management, managing timeliness, quality, risk management, project financial performance, communication, and scope management of the projects, in line with the Aurecon methodology.
• Accountable for effective closeout of projects and debrief on all projects with the client, Client Relationship Executive/Managers and Project Leaders; responsible for providing technical expertise and overseeing all technical aspects of projects.

Financial management

• Manage project profitability and financial contribution for allocated projects; ensure financial performance of the allocated projects in accordance with client proposals, business plans and budgets.

People Management & Competency Development

• Responsible for the leadership, management, development, and motivation of team, ensuring the ongoing development of careers and competencies, services and technologies within the Service Group.

What can you bring to the team?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and minimum 10+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization, project management qualification and solid technical expertise
• High level engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects (i.e. Data centre design or related will be highly regarded)
• Excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills, with a strong client focus and proven track record in business development
• Ability to manage projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design, and to demonstrate leadership and team management skills
• Ability to lead a team of junior staff

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 to 12 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Centre Experience will be preferred.
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead project team members on technical delivery. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Sufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Organised approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.
• High level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM / Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.

• Lead our established team of Revit / CAD technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines; produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks and produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies while mentoring more junior CAD employees in the use of Revit / CAD.
• Produce Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design, ensuring that all work complies with AURECON's quality control procedures and authority requirements; ensure drawing standards and protocols are maintained.
• Drafting and detailing for Mechanical & Electrical elements.
• Prepare drawings and models for authority submission in line with BCA’s template and requirements.
• Multi-disciplinary BIM coordination & collaboration in 3D environment, with implementation of all relevant codes of practice.

• Autodesk Certified Professional is preferred; with continued advanced training in the latest / Autodesk BIM software and applications.
• Required proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk CAD and REVIT, Navisworks, Autodesk Cloud Construction & BIM 360.
• Knowledge in Ideate, RTV Tools and Dynamo would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrates understanding, initiative, and proactive approach to digital delivery; well-developed communication skills including ability to perform effectively in team environment with a strong client focus to lead, train, and coach the team.

• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, act as a technical expert to mentor other engineers within the team, while supervising and coordinating to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards.
• Assist in business development activities and establish good working relationship with local authorities at the project and local market level.

• Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup.

• Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree).
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore.
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous.
• Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 10 to 12 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Centre Experience will be preferred.
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead project team members on technical delivery. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Sufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Organised approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.
• High level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM / Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.

Winning Work & Client Relationships

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the client plan and positive client relationships.
• Responsible for achievement of revenue and relevant utilisation targets, developing of client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs, and signoff as required.

Project Delivery

• Accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned. This includes but is not limited to contract negotiation, project management, managing timeliness, quality, risk management, project financial performance, communication, and scope management of the projects, in line with the Aurecon methodology.
• Accountable for effective closeout of projects and debrief on all projects with the client, Client Relationship Executive/Managers and Project Leaders; responsible for providing technical expertise and overseeing all technical aspects of projects.

Financial management

• Manage project profitability and financial contribution for allocated projects; ensure financial performance of the allocated projects in accordance with client proposals, business plans and budgets.

People Management & Competency Development

• Responsible for the leadership, management, development, and motivation of team, ensuring the ongoing development of careers and competencies, services and technologies within the Service Group.

• Lead our established team of Revit / CAD technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines; produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks and produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies while mentoring more junior CAD employees in the use of Revit / CAD.
• Produce Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design, ensuring that all work complies with AURECON's quality control procedures and authority requirements; ensure drawing standards and protocols are maintained.
• Drafting and detailing for Mechanical & Electrical elements.
• Prepare drawings and models for authority submission in line with BCA’s template and requirements.
• Multi-disciplinary BIM coordination & collaboration in 3D environment, with implementation of all relevant codes of practice.

• Required proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk CAD and REVIT, Navisworks, Autodesk Cloud Construction & BIM 360.
• Knowledge in Ideate, RTV Tools and Dynamo would be an added advantage.

• Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team, and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
• Liaison with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree).
• Minimum 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore.
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous.
• Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
