Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the fabrication and assembly of various ship components, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and shipyard personnels to troubleshoot and resolve technicial issues.
- Conduct inspection and tests to ensure adherence to safety regulation and classification society requirements.
- Assess the extent of damage on vessels requiring repair.
- Coordinate repair activities with various trades, including welders, pipe fitters, electricians and machanics.
- Perform and supervise repair works, ensuring quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in shipyard operation or a relavant engineering field.
- Strong understanding of vessel structures, systems and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment adhering to safety regulations.
