- You will perform advance technical planning, preparation, and coordination and execution, through in-depth knowledge of testing and evaluation in engineering, for a comprehensive test program.
- You will manage and monitor program, including resolutions of major problems and anticipation beyond technical efforts to examine other issues, giving consideration to such matters as cost, user acceptance, and productive solutions.
- You will evaluate and respond to changes in schedules or provide rationale as to the validity of such changes.
- You will act as technical expert and authoritative source for major decisions regarding availability planning.
- You will provide direction and guidance with respect to ships conditions, ships Safety and plant conditions.
- You will provide overall direction of interfaces and maintains control of nuclear and Combat systems interface issues and requirements.
- You will develop unique system turnover procedures and assume responsibility for Systems under shipyard operational control.
- You will ensure safety in granting permission to perform work.
- You will plan the work to be accomplished by subordinates and establish priorities and timetables.
- You will direct program based on labor, resources and operational needs.
