This is an exciting role and opportunity to become part of our expanding IT Services Team in a fast-paced and diverse environment. As the server engineer you will work in a third line team of four on a range of equipment and support the 1st line team of 5 technicians with escalations related to the server infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
Installing new hardware and coming up with design solutions for new requirements or to improve \ update existing systems. This will cover windows server 2016 and above, Dell rack servers, Synology NAS storage and VMware and Hyper V.
You will also be carrying out “business as usual” functions such as backups and monitoring and working with the team generally to improve resilience and security.
As the successful candidate you will:
• Ideally have Microsoft Server certifications
• Ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with good trouble shooting skills, technical knowledge and a service driven attitude
• Have strong knowledge with IT trouble shooting (hardware and software) and experience with Server 2016, 2019 & 2022.
• Have proven experience of resolving complex problems.

Mechanical Engineer

As part of an ongoing investment on this site we require an additional qualified Mechanical Engineer to join the team. Working on a rotating shift basis, you'll be a key member of our busy maintenance team, directly responsible for providing a prompt and responsive breakdown fault diagnosis and repair service & undertaking routine mechanical maintenance, across a range of plant and machinery.

Some responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer include:

• Installation of machine parts such as chain drives, gearmotors, valves and pumps.
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks, finding and fixing any faults.
• Responding to emergency breakdowns on our production lines.

About you:

Alongside your solid background in mechanical engineering, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment, you are confident in working alone or alongside a team. You'll be technically minded and hold your work to a high level. In addition, you'll have:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of computer-based systems and software.
• A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem solving skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy environment.
