About the Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will conduct high-quality mechanical and gas checks, inspections, and testing across the council's portfolio of buildings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks. ⚙️
- Ensuring all operations adhere to our Health & Safety policies. ️
- Collaborating with a dedicated mechanical team to tackle challenges.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and effective communication with colleagues and clients.
What We’re Looking For
We seek individuals who are:
- Qualified: Hold current commercial gas qualifications (CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICPN1, MET4, TPCP1, TPCP1A) and an NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or equivalent.
- Experienced: Knowledgeable in commercial gas appliances, pipework, and regulations. ️
- Organised: Capable of managing work schedules and leading a remote team.
- Communicative: Excellent relationship builders with strong report-writing skills. ✍️
- Driven: Passionate about making a positive impact in Nottingham. ❤️
