As an on-site Gas Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our dynamic Maintenance team, responsible for providing gas maintenance across our accommodations and park facilities. Your expertise will help keep our park’s facilities safe, functional, and comfortable for our guests, ensuring they enjoy a relaxing and worry-free stay. 

Key Responsibilities  
- Install, inspect, and maintain LPG gas systems and appliances in our accommodations and park facilities. 
- Efficiently identify and resolve issues related to gas supply, heating, and appliances, following industry standards and regulations. 
- Provide timely and effective response to gas-related emergencies, prioritising guest and team safety, minimising disruptions. 
- Conduct regular gas safety inspections, keep detailed records, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations. 
- Work closely with the wider maintenance team to provide seamless, high-quality service across the park. 

Requirements   
- Fully qualified Gas Engineer with valid LPG certification. 
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial gas engineering.  
- Previous experience working on holiday homes (preferred, but not essential).  
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.  
- A solid understanding of gas safety regulations and a commitment to working safely.

About the Role:We are actively recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting and diverse contract focused on maintaining critical national infrastructure and remote communication stations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:

-Low Voltage (LV) Distribution: Maintenance and oversight of LV distribution systems.

-Generator & Fuel System Maintenance: Ensuring power systems and fuel mechanisms are functioning reliably.

-UPS & Batteries: Routine checks and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and battery systems.

-Lighting & Emergency Lighting: Upkeep of lighting systems, including emergency lighting to ensure safety and compliance.

-Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC): Maintenance of HVAC systems to guarantee efficient operation.

-Fire and Intruder Systems: Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarms and intruder detection systems.

-Water Hygiene: Ensuring water systems meet hygiene standards and comply with regulations.

-Lightning Protection: Maintenance and testing of lightning protection systems to safeguard infrastructure.

-Building Maintenance & Site Infrastructure: General maintenance of buildings and associated infrastructure, including groundskeeping tasks.

-Masts & Towers: Upkeep of masts and towers to ensure they remain operational and secure.

-Specialist Vehicles: Maintenance of vehicles required for the performance of specific operational duties.

In addition to these duties, you will supervise contractors performing specific tasks and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also interact with clients during service visits, responding to queries, reporting any defects, and providing updates on site activities.

Compliance and Documentation:All work must comply with the latest industry standards and legislation, including SFG20, client Method Statements (MS), or any applicable Approved Codes of Practice (ACoPs). You will be responsible for completing all necessary documentation, such as inspection reports and records of remedial work, accurately and in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For:We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals with the following qualifications and skills:

-Proven experience working within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.

-Electrical Authorised Person (AP) experience is essential.

-Relevant qualifications, such as an Electrical Level 3 Award, City & Guilds (C&G) 2391, and 18th Edition certification.

-A solid understanding of Health & Safety practices, including Permit to Work procedures and safe working systems.

-The ability to carry out manual tasks, such as manual handling, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.

-A willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota when required.

-A full, clean driving license is essential for this role as travel between sites is expected.

You may already be a Qualified Gas Engineer with Domestic or Commercial experience which is great or maybe you have gained the relevant experience and qualifications needed within a similar role in Facilities or Maintenance! All we are looking for is…

- Hold all current Gas Safe Qualifications including LPG systems
- Experience of completing gas work within holiday homes would be desirable but not essential
- Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation

Come and join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Gas Engineer!

As part of our Facilities & Maintenance Team, you will… 

- Support our Maintenance Team to complete reactive, planned and preventative Gas maintenance to ensure that all our holiday homes are safely connected and certified
- Deliver day to day gas repairs across a variety of holiday homes and units, including boiler and water heating systems,
- Carry out full gas connection of our holiday homes to cylinders and meters
- Be responsible for gas testing and ensuring new appliances are installed safely in our holiday homes
- Keep clear and accurate records of checks, audits and renewals.
- Ensure Health & Safety is always a top priority, providing a safe and secure environment for all
