Job title: Assistant Radiological Protection Engineer

Applicants must posses the following:
- A highly motivated, flexible and proactive approach to daily tasks
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in writing technical reports

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Awareness of radiological protection and industry best practice
- Good level of commercial awareness
- Able to work within budget and programme constraints

Role information:
- Offering administrative support within a highly regulated environment
- Implement radiological protection improvements to improve safety
- Provide radiological protection support to projects to ensure compliance with regulations

Derby College Group (DCG) have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Support Assistant to join the Engineering department. This is a supporting role which requires the successful candidate to assist the engineering staff during the practical based tasks. It offers an insight into teaching and could provide an excellent opportunity to develop in the teaching profession.
About you
You will be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement. A good understanding of practical tasks is required along with a desire to enhance student’s practical skills and support curriculum staff with their teaching. You will be organised and have excellent interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team.
