Summary of Role:
Our Fab 9 Team, Essex Junction, VT, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer. The individual selected for this position will be part of the Surface Prep Manufacturing Engineering organization with primary responsibilities focused on support and continuous improvement of 200mm semiconductor equipment.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.
Create, analyze and review technical charts.
Be able to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve challenging, complex problems.
Be open-minded and work collaboratively with others.
Responsible for availability of owned toolsets while meeting quality standards.
Establish SOP (Standard operating process) and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related processes.
Understand product development requirements and qualify processes on owned toolsets to meet those requirements.
Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance cost, throughput, and yield.
Work with cross functional teams to deliver organizational goals.
Other Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Education – BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required
Experience – Minimum 2 years in semiconductor industry, with good understanding of manufacturing equipment.
Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
Prior experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partner.
Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning & organizational skills.
Expected Salary Range
$57,700.00 - $133,100.00
