What You Will Do:
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, maintaining a focus on colleague and personal safety.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting, minimizing unplanned downtime with effective preventative maintenance.
• Enhance equipment performance using data analysis for informed decision-making.
• Execute projects within budget and time constraints, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including shift reports and equipment drawings.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to foster a positive and productive work environment.
What You Will Bring:
• City & Guilds 17th Edition qualification in electrical engineering, with 18th Edition being highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a persistent approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with PLC/HMI, AC & DC variable speed drive installation, and repair preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• UK driving license and own transport for shift work flexibility.
Engineers with current or previous experience as maintenance technician, maintenance electrician, shift electrician, shift maintenance engineer, service engineer or electrical installation engineer will have the right skills to be considered for this role.
