- You will manage the Drydock Facilities Safety Certification Program, serve as the project manager, a principal contact point and technical specialist on matters concerning drydock facilities.
- You will plan, administer, and coordinate all actions necessary to ensure continuous certification of the four graving docks in the Shipyard.
- You will plan, manage and coordinate all projects concerning drydocking facilities (both new construction building facilities and repair facilities) at the shipyard.
- You will define engineering requirements and prepare preliminary design plans, engineering specifications and cost estimates for developing project submissions.
- You will apply professional engineering knowledge to design, construction, operation and maintenance of drydocking facilities and equipment (such as flooding, dewatering, and draining systems, gravity type graving docks, caissons).
- You will accomplish design work, prepare reports, and accomplish technical engineering investigations of public works installations.
