About the Role:We are actively recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting and diverse contract focused on maintaining critical national infrastructure and remote communication stations. Key Responsibilities:As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:

-Low Voltage (LV) Distribution: Maintenance and oversight of LV distribution systems.

-Generator & Fuel System Maintenance: Ensuring power systems and fuel mechanisms are functioning reliably.

-UPS & Batteries: Routine checks and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and battery systems.

-Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC): Maintenance of HVAC systems to guarantee efficient operation.

-Water Hygiene: Ensuring water systems meet hygiene standards and comply with regulations.

-Lightning Protection: Maintenance and testing of lightning protection systems to safeguard infrastructure.

-Building Maintenance & Site Infrastructure: General maintenance of buildings and associated infrastructure, including groundskeeping tasks.

-Masts & Towers: Upkeep of masts and towers to ensure they remain operational and secure.

-Specialist Vehicles: Maintenance of vehicles required for the performance of specific operational duties.

In addition to these duties, you will supervise contractors performing specific tasks and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also interact with clients during service visits, responding to queries, reporting any defects, and providing updates on site activities.

Compliance and Documentation:All work must comply with the latest industry standards and legislation, including SFG20, client Method Statements (MS), or any applicable Approved Codes of Practice (ACoPs). You will be responsible for completing all necessary documentation, such as inspection reports and records of remedial work, accurately and in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For:We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals with the following qualifications and skills:

-Proven experience working within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.

-Electrical Authorised Person (AP) experience is essential.

-Relevant qualifications, such as an Electrical Level 3 Award, City & Guilds (C&G) 2391, and 18th Edition certification.

-A solid understanding of Health & Safety practices, including Permit to Work procedures and safe working systems.

-The ability to carry out manual tasks, such as manual handling, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps. You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines.

You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plants, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.

Candidates will have a full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. You'll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA). My client is a national Facilities Management provider who have a new vacancy for a Multiskilled Commercial Gas Engineer to work on a mobile basis working on various commercial contacts.

Within this role you will be responsible for carrying out all planned, preventative and reactive maintenance with additional minor works on gas, Plumbing and Mechanical systems as and when required within commercial premises.

You will be working on a mobile basis working on contract mainly covering the South Lanarkshire area.

Your main duties will include:

Carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance on heating, plumbing and commercial gas systems within commercial premises- ensuring all works carried out within agreed SLA’s

Carrying out repairs and attending breakdowns on heating, plumbing and commercial gas systems within commercial premises- which will include providing a call out response to be carried out within agreed SLA’s.

Diagnose faults and rectify these issues where possible.

Ensure that all contractors are monitored on behalf of the client and that works are carried out correctly.

Working in a client / customer facing environment, ensuring you remain professional at all times.

Take a proactive approach to working in partnership with the client to ensure all concerns are dealt with in a timely manner.

Ensure all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted on a weekly basis.

The successful candidate should have:

SVQ Level 3 Service & Maintenance (or equivalent)

Apprenticeship gained working within the FM / building services industry

Holding valid commercial gas tickets

Main Duties

General

-The use of cleaning fluids, brushes, scrappers and sprays will be required

Fire Dampers Testing

-Ability to manually test the operation of inline fire damper device.

-Dampers are located within various types of ducting located above ceilings, which requires the careful removal of ceiling tiles and access hatches to simulate the damper operation

-Documenting and recording the damper condition and physical location for the service report is key.

Air Quality Testing

Complete Air Quality tasks which include:

-Collection of air quality data and samples.

-Completion of air quality reports.

-LEV experience beneficial (but not essential)

-Understand the guidelines set by HSE and CIBSE in regard to workplace exposure limits.

MULTI SKILLED ENGINEER - HVAC ENGINEER BIAS

We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with a HVAC bias, to provide and maintain a high level of building maintenance support to our clients. You will be part of a team of multi-skilled technical support staff that ensure that the service provided meets the contractual requirements and complies with all relevant regulations and laws. You will assist in supervising contractors and sub-contractors and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.

You should be capable of having a flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive), with a pro-active and positive approach to work. You will be expected to effectively prioritise your own workload whilst assisting other engineers/staff with their duties as required, being aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in.

You should have strong knowledge and be able to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required in the scope of the contract, ensuring that the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance activities of building maintenance is completed in line with contractual obligations. All assets should be maintained in accordance with the O&M Manuals, alongside compliance with all Health & Safety Legislation and Company Policy (fire regulations, COSHH, safe working practises, PPE, PAT testing etc).

You will also be expected to ensure all building fabric elements are functional and operational within design parameters, carrying out reactive repairs within agreed response and rectification times. You shall ensure all reactive calls are closed out in line with contractual time scales. You will also be expected to anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults, recording accurately on work sheets and computer-based system, and complete any ADHOC duties assigned. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment and plant/rooms/services are kept clean, safe, and secure.

The ideal candidate will have time served apprenticeships or an equivalent NVQ qualification in Carpentry and/or Joinery. You should be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. You should have a good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and building Statutory Compliance and be able to apply this to the role. It is essential you can carry tools and equipment by hand of up to 20kg, be able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment, work at heights, are available to join a call out rota, and hold a full UK driving license.
