This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join the Falmouth Finance Team, at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, which is part of Spirax Group, a FTSE 100 company.
Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Purchase Ledger team with the day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger and other related finance tasks.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring invoices are appropriately matched to Po's
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- GBP and foreign currency payments to external suppliers and group companies
- GBP and foreign currency bank reconciliations
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
- Company credit card administration
- Payment Practices Reporting
- Monthly and quarterly reporting, including KPI analysis
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous purchase ledger experience.
- Experience with month end & multiple deadlines.
- Computerised accounting systems, preferably ERP.
- Strong Excel skills including ability to manipulate data and pivot tables.
- Qualification such as AAT or similar is advantageous although not essential.
- Any experience of working on change projects is beneficial.
