Position Responsibilities:

This position will be assigned to manage the Syndication Servicing team and will be responsible for servicing commercial loans that are agented by the CIBC Bank USA as well as loans that are agented by other financial institutions in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. 

Essential Duties Include:

• Act as a liaison between the Bank, the customer or participant banks for all transactions and balancing issues
• Manage performance by providing fair and accurate formal feedback
• Reconcile PVTB system against bank notices
• Review appropriate reports to solidify data integrity
• Other tasks/projects as required within the department.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience performing loan services in a financial institution.
• Detailed and process oriented with a focus on integrity and accuracy of information.
• Strong prioritization and analytical skills.

• Understanding of financial services operations, infrastructure and payment processing.

The Internal Audit Director – Finance and Treasury Portfolio will focus on co-leading the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team under the direction of the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury, conducting audits in the areas such as general accounting, regulatory reporting, product control, liquidity management, capital management, and interest rate risk management.  The Internal Audit Director is a leadership position within the US Internal Audit Department responsible for the development and execution of a risk based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to the Finance and Treasury Portfolio.  The Internal Audit Director develops strong relationships with Finance and Treasury business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the organization and stay close to new developments impacting the business.  Additionally, the Internal Audit Director role will be responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure audit activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards.  The Internal Audit Director will also assist the Audit Senior Director in mentoring and developing the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team to ensure team members continue to progress their careers. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury in developing a comprehensive audit plan for the Finance and Treasury Portfolio that addresses key regulatory requirements / expectations and provides a sound third line of defense risk based coverage
• Provide oversight in the execution of the audit plan through the review of detailed project plans that effectively incorporate appropriate risks, scope, staffing requirements, deliverables, timelines, budgets and client availability
• Demonstrate a forward-looking mindset to anticipate what is needed to timely meet objectives and department needs
• Oversee and manage multiple engagements at one time
• Participate in certain committees of the US Region to increase understanding and awareness of current issues and new developments

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Experience working in an Internal Audit department at a large US bank focusing on audits of the finance and treasury function
• Strong knowledge of US banking regulations, including Regulation YY
• 12+ years of relevant, progressive experience
• Big 4 or other professional services experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in areas of difficult or complex nature
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

• It’s an Asset if:  You have good understanding of .Microsoft Full Stack development, working with both Front and backend of the applications. This would include experience with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)). Ability to code at a high level in .NET languages (C#) as well as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS. Experience with MS Azure, and experience/familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required. You should have familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC), understanding of Agile methodologies, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Experience with Team Found Server and or Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred. What you will be doing

This role requires extensive familiarity with Windows servers and frequently involves user support tasks. Expertise with the Windows operating system and server administration to develop and deploy servers, support day-to-day system performance, and prevent data loss and unauthorized access is required. This role encompasses back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related departments and personnel.

• Administer and support core Microsoft, Linux, VMware technologies and Azure resources.

What you will be doing

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of CIBC’s On-Prem, hosted, and cloud applications and interfaces from both a technical and business perspective. The role works on the day-to-day support through troubleshooting complex issues and delivering quick solutions.

This role will be partnering with the business to champion their needs and requests. Also, collaborate with vendors, developers, architects, and cloud and infrastructure specialists to gather requirements and conduct research for new, upgraded, and enhanced technologies.

Moreover, this role will coordinate and/or perform designs, installations, configurations, and system testing producing deliverables related to specific projects. Also, responsible for assisting Compliance and Security to ensure systems are functioning in accordance with Bank standards.

The Operations Analyst is responsible for coordinating daily responsibilities during peak periods to ensure Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded. Position Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of deposit operations duties that require the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with good problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail. This position is responsible for review and processing requests related to Deposit Operations of the Bank as well as providing support to our lines of business.  Candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change and promote teamwork through individual participation.  This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of three days in the office.

Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Daily review and morning pre scrub of positive pay exception items including account maintenance, reconciliation and returns

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide enhancements to existing technologies. What you'll be doing

As a member of the US Security Services team, you’ll work on a fast-paced information security team that protects our bank from cyber threats.

The US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience (COR) Consultant is responsible for execution of CIBC’s Security functions as it relates to US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience controls. The US Region COR Consultant will be directly responsible for multiple security services, products, and projects that achieve critical security objectives. You’ll work closely with Enterprise Information Security and Technology teams to coordinate and integrate security tools, processes, and reporting between the US Region and CIBC Enterprise.

How you'll succeed

• Vulnerability Management – Liaison and response for remediating vulnerabilities identified across infrastructure and applications

• Centralized Log Management - Oversee the aggregation, analysis, reconciliation, and management of logs from various systems and devices to ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of the Bank's IT infrastructure

• SOC Service Consultant – Work with Enterprise SOC and service owners to implement security event telemetry including security event logging, SIEM, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence

• Red Team Testing – Plan Red Team test scenarios and track follow-up findings

• Penetration Testing – Schedule penetration tests per security policy

• Metrics - Develop and report on US COR Security Service metrics and KPIs

• Incident and Threat Response – Lead investigations to find, triage, and contain threats (CSIM)

• Fusion – Research current threats and participate in daily Fusion stand-ups, representing US Region to discuss external threat levels

• Agile Team Member – Participate in planning events, team stand-ups, and team sprint planning

The Technology Operational Risk Senior Consultant acts as a second line of defense by working with business peers and Risk Management partners in all aspects of identification, measurement, monitoring and control of operational risk and ensuring that CIBC continues to meets the key requirements of the sound practices for the Management and Supervision of Technology Operational Risk. As a key individual contributor to the business unit, this role has the authority to recommend changes to assigned business units and related business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Accountabilities include:

• Fulfill the role of CIBC’s second line of defense in the management of operational risk by challenging the business lines’ inputs to and outputs from CIBC’s risk management, risk measurement and reporting systems. This is a key role in managing and maintaining the relationships with the supported businesses in the three lines of defense model and it requires a thorough understanding of the business as well as the ability to provide the effective challenge up to executive level in a constructive manner.
• Provide ongoing oversight and assessment of technology and cybersecurity operational risk and control exposure through the use of various risk identification and assessment tools. The operational risk and control framework tools are a key enabler of CIBC’s risk program and as such, the proper application of the tools are an important part of CIBC being able to manage and monitor its risk profile. In addition to applying the tools, the role is also expected to provide input into improving the tools as part of a continuous improvement process.
• Provide independent challenge to business line assessments and analysis of technology and cybersecurity operational risk and controls and identifying lines of inquiry and review. As technology operational risk is inherent in all business activities, the review and challenge process requires the ability to complete this activity for assigned business groups on a continuous cycle.
• Maintain and enhance deep technology and cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in a number of technology related domains (e.g. cloud, network, virtualization, data management, DevOps, APIs, cybersecurity, etc.) to provide credible challenge to business lines and risk partners.
• Support to the entire US Technology Operational Risk team where the application of their specific area(s) of technology expertise is required. Work on activities (e.g. scorecards, risk assessments, analyses, reporting, etc.) that support the Director of US Technology Operational Risk and other members of the Operational Risk Management team
• Collaborate with the business units and functional groups to ensure that control and technology and cyber operational risk policies, procedures and standards are communicated across CIBC and to provide appropriate education and training. CIBC’s control and operational risk programs are Bank-wide and as such the policies, procedures and standards must be communicated in an effective manner to large numbers of employees at all levels throughout the organization.
• Provide technology and cybersecurity operational risk and control advice to business lines on technology risk priorities, industry best practices, and emerging trends to enhance risk mitigation strategies. This requirement includes the ability to work with senior leaders and experienced colleagues.
• Perform detailed research and analysis to deliver technology and cyber risk insights and document them for communication to various audiences. All documentation produced should be at a level of quality to be presented to senior leaders within the Bank.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of subject matters expertise in Technology, Information Systems, and Cyber Security, including deep knowledge in, but not limited to: Cloud, Network, Virtualization, Technology Infrastructure, Data management/Analytics, DevOps, APIs, Cybersecurity, compliance with industry framework such as NIST CSF, FFIEC, ITIL, DCAM, and metric development and measurement such as RAS, KRI, KPI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manipulate large volumes of data to draw meaningful conclusions. Strong knowledge with end user computing tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Highly proficient in writing reports and including presentation to senior management and leaders.
• A team player and relationship builder who can work with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and/or initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's Degree in the field of Technology, Information Management, Information Security, Data Science, and other related fields.
• Industry recognized technology certifications in their Subject Matter Expertise are preferred such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, etc.
